Tyler Capps, Owner
Tyler is the 3rd generation owner at Modern Methods Dental Laboratory. He started working at the lab at the age of 17. Through his many years of service, he has learned every aspect of the dental lab and has created lasting friendships with many doctors.
His goal for the lab is to always stay up to date with ever-changing technologies and techniques.
He believes in a healthy work/home life balance for himself and his employees. Tyler enjoys hunting, fishing, and wheeling trips in his spare time. He is also an avid car and truck enthusiast. He and his wife love cruising in their 1968 F-100.
Kenzie Capps, Client Relations & Sales
Kenzie enjoys learning about the dental world and meeting new people daily. She’s always eager to pick up, drop off a case, or even just pop in to say hello.
When she’s not working, Kenzie loves traveling, camping, and spending time with her friends, family, and dog, Willie.
Rene, Office Manager
For over eight years, René has been playing a pivotal role in keeping our office running efficiently as MMDL’s Office Manager. Beyond the office, René finds joy in a variety of hobbies and activities. She enjoys camping trips, Harley adventures, weekly bowling, shopping excursions with her girlfriends, and most of all quality time with her grandboys. With her vibrant personality and wealth of experience, René is an integral part of our team, both in and out of the office.
Mark, Metal Finishing & CAD Design
And the award for MMDL’s longest running employee goes to Mark! For more than 30 years, Mark has been the cornerstone of expertise in metal finishing and CAD design. Outside his extensive knowledge and precise skillset in the lab, you will find Mark enjoying a spine-tingling documentary or fly fishing in the great outdoors. Whether he’s polishing a gold crown or fine tuning his rod and reel, Mark has what it takes to get the job done!
Tina, CAD Specialist
Tina joined MMDL in 2023 with two decades of dental lab experience! She spends her days designing restorations, keeping the mills running and whatever else gets tossed her way. Tina enjoys being outdoors with her son and husband. You can usually find her on the side lines rooting on her son during a race or a football game. She's the loudest and proudest Mom! Her wealth of knowledge and skill and her bubbly personality maker her a vital part of the MMDL family!
Chi, Ceramic Specialist
For 28 years MMDL has been lucky to have Chi as their Ceramic Specialist! Chi demonstrates an unparalleled level of expertise and commitment in her role with meticulous attention to detail. If you come in for a custom shade, Chi will greet you with a warm smile and make you feel at home. She is an active member in her church community and has a passion for creating beautiful flower arrangements. We are proud to have Chi and her family as part of our family!
Ashley, Lab Tech & Appliance Specialist
Her pursuit to always improve is what brought Ashley to MMDL with 10 years of dental assisting and extensive CAD experience. She loves learning something new and pushing the boundaries of digital dentistry. Often, you will find her designing removable appliances, planning implants, or researching something new to learn. When Ashley isn't obsessing over teeth, she is always outside with her family of 5; boating, camping, fishing, hiking, running, or just soaking up the sun with a good book!
Annie, Lab Tech & Admin
Willie may belong to Tyler and Kenzie, but his friendly demeanor and welcoming nature endear him to visitors and staff alike. He loves going to the office to visit his friends and running deliveries with his Mom. When Willie is not hard at work; he enjoys chasing squirrels, going for walks, and snuggling up with his humans.
